Can I Cancel or Reschedule My Weekend Ride if it's Raining?
We do Not Refund Scheduled Rides unless We Cancel Due to Thunder and Lightning. You Cannot Reschedule a Weekend or Holiday Ride. We Do Ride in the Rain. You Can Reschedule a Weekday Ride 1 time.
Do I have to have an appointment? Yes
Is there an age limit? No, we have horses for all ages and abilities. We have mounting blocks and a platform if you are unable to mount from the ground. If you have a very small child they may be able to ride with another person If the person and child can fit properly in the saddle together.
Is there a weight limit? Yes, we can accomodate riders up to 275 lbs. Please let us know if you have a rider over 200 lbs
Do we have to wear helmets? Riders under 18 have to wear helmets. If you are over 18 and would like to wear a helmet we will gladly provide you with one.
Can we bring treats? Yes, the horses love apples and carrots.
Can we take pictures? Yes, you are welcome to take pictures and video. If you would like a picture on your horse and a group picture, please let us know and we will take one for you
Do you have to have experience? No, we have horses for all ability levels. We have many visitors that have never ridden a horse before.
How long is the ride? Our rides range from 2 1/2 miles up to 11 miles. The 2 1/2 mile ride is approximately 1 hour. From there we have 3 1/2 miles, approximately 1.5 hours; 5 miles, approximately 2 hours;Ft. Braden is up to 11 miles and 5-7 hours.
Can we double up on horses? If there are 2 toddlers, they can double up. If a parent wants to ride with a small child, both have to comfortably fit in the saddle.
Do you offer discounts? Yes, military and first responders get a 10% discount.
Do you have Gift Certificates? Yes we do.
Can you request a horse? Yes you can. Please enter your request when scheduling your ride.
Can you sponsor a horse? Yes you can, $100 a month will cover feed and hay for a month. You can also make a donation of any amount.
Is there a dress code? Please wear closed toe shoes and dress for the weather. We do ride in the rain and have rain ponchos available for $2.
